Free series that will get your followers to say, 'You're Hired!'
With a business named after a global movie enterprise, you won't be surprised to hear I'm a bit of a geek when it comes to film and TV.
And in January of each year, I love to pop aside my Potter DVD's (anyone else been binging it on Netflix?) to make space for hit BBC reality show: The Apprentice!
I get seriously obsessed, and this year I've come up with a new way to enjoy it that will mean I can also help fellow mums in business with their social media.
For the duration of this FREE series, I'm inviting you to become one of my 'candidates' and be given 12 weekly tasks to complete – just like Lord Sugar's counterparts will be doing on our screens!
The twist is that instead of competing against each other and risking hearing the words ‘You’re Fired’ after every task, you'll have the chance to learn new content creation skills and make new connections that you’ll be able to use to grow your own business.
There are also some fabulous prizes up for grabs at the end of it!
The Apprentice is a cut-throat world, where you have to stand out and get noticed if you don’t want to get sent home – and social media is no different!
But I believe we can make creating content for our businesses more fun and these tasks are designed to help you get more creative, instead of being scared of ‘getting the chop’ from your followers’ timelines.
How's it going to work?
Beginning on Monday 29th January, candidates will be given a weekly task in my Facebook Group (The Content Wizards) and via email.
Within that group, you'll also be offered the chance to ask questions relating to the task and to chat about each episode of The Apprentice, if you fancy it!
Each task will relate to the activity the candidates are taking part in on the show.
For example, Week 1 will be to submit a video to introduce yourself and to share that on your own social media channels so that your followers can find out more about you - just like an audition tape!
The tasks have been designed to help small business owners learn new skills you can apply to the marketing for your business, but also to offer a chance to test these out and get my expert support while doing so.
I know 12 weeks sounds like a long time, but the tasks will be designed to fit in with the content planning and strategy you are already doing for your business.
They will enhance your posts and make what you create for your social media even better!
If you do miss a task - don't worry! A mini-toolkit will be available at the end of the challenge to summarise everything we have covered.
However, there will be weekly and monthly prizes up for grabs for anyone who takes part in the weekly tasks and those who complete all the tasks will be entered into a prize draw for a grand prize worth £197.
I've created this challenge to find a fun new way of looking at social media, but it's also a way for you to get my help with your content so it is easier and less stressful in the future.
So make sure you scroll to the top now to sign up!

- Designing an event for your group or followers to take part in.
- Networking on your favourite platform to ‘collect’ new followers.
About Amy: The Content Wizard
I am the Founder of Social Media Agency, The Content Planning Wizard, and I support clients by creating content that raises brand awareness and helps you connect with your audience.
Unusually, part of my remit is to teach business owners, like you, the skills you need to do this, so you can implement them yourself and show up authentically on your social media.
The Wizard's Apprentice event is part of my mission to help fellow mums in business make social media less time-consuming and less stressful, by teaching you a strategy to transform your content and connect with more potential clients.
Our goal will be to create a buzz on social media so you can stand out on Facebook or Instagram and catch the eye of your future customers.
But, rather than feeling like churning out social media posts is a chore you don’t have time for, I want to help you get creative and have more fun with your marketing.
Lord Sugar’s candidates will be hoping to hear the words, ‘You’re Hired’ – and so will you!
